    At seventeen Laneikka wrote DEAD SKIN that went on to sell out a season at Kings Cross Theatre. The play won the State Theatre Company of South Australia’s Young PlaywrightsAward and has been published by Australian Plays Transform. Laneikka is the recipient of the Diversity Entertainment Creative Mentorship, their play DEAD SKIN will be performed in LA while Laneikka works on a feature film adaption of the play with Diversity Entertainment, LLC.

  • THE MONOLOGUE COLLECTIVE

    Nominated for BEST PRODUCTION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE at the Sydney Theatre Awards 2022.

    In partnership with KXT, with support from PYT Fairfield Laneikka has created and produced THE MONOLOGUE COLLECTIVE a year-long writing program for teenagers to develop monologues for teenagers to perform in the HSC. The Monologue Collective was performed at KXT and Shopfront to SOLD OUT audiences, published by Play Lab Australia.

    The program includes two developments at PYT Fairfield, dramaturgy from Bernadette Fam and Riley Spadaro, seven workshops with Alana Valentine, Polly Rowe, Jordy Shea, Merlynn Tong, Ayeesha Ash, Lewis Treston, Anchuli Felicia King, and was performed
